Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico win on day 2

SAN GERMAN - Mexico, Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico women's basketball teams won on day 2 of the Central American and Caribbean Games.
The Mexicans made their debut by beating Guatemala 85-65 as Brisa Silva led the way with 31 points, including five three pointers. In the loss Alma Lopez netted 21 points.
In the second game played, the Dominican Republic defeated Jamaica 72-62 as Carmen Guzman led with 29 points and Sugeiry Monsac helped with 14.
Finally Puerto Rico dominated USVI 82-55 with four players scoring in double figures led by Sandra Garcia with 16 and Pamela Rosado 15.
On Tuesday's action, St. Vincent and the Grenadines take on USVI (13:00), México faces the Dominican Republic (16:00) and Trinidad & Tobago face Puerto Rico (21:00).
