The mission and role of CBC within the Sub-Sub-Zone mirrors that of FIBA and FIBA Americas and in strict collaboration with FIBA Americas and CONCENCABA:

• Coordinate and prepare the annual calendar of activities.

• Control and technically direct all basketball tournaments for Men and Women between National Teams or Clubs.

• Control and establish the criteria for the nominations of referees, commissioners, instructors, evaluators, and all expert personnel that would contribute to the benefit of all the international competitions in the region.

• Coordinate and prepare the annual calendar of activities.

• Organize the regional championships for Centro Basket qualification:

• Centro Basket Championship for Men and Women
  Centro Basket Championship U-17 for Men and Women
  Centro Basket Championship U-15 for Men and Women
