The Turks and Caicos Islands are a
British Overseas Territory consisting of two groups of
sub-tropical islands in the West Indies, the larger Caicos
Islands and the smaller Turks Islands. They are situated
southeast of Miami in the United States, and of Mayaguana in
the Bahamas.

Turks & Caicos Islands Basketball Federation (TCIBF) was
formally recognized by the International Basketball
Federation in 2002. TCIBF joined the Caribbean Basketball
Confederation (CBC) in 2002.
